KEK J.s.c announces that today on 17.05.2012 at 13.00h, the specialist Arben Tërrnava – a KEK worker, was attacked physically by the son of the customer DPR 34023, at "Mentor Ratkoceri" Street n.n while executing an order for disconnection in the presence of the police.

Acting on this, the police intervened immediately and attacker was arrested.

KEK J.s.c strongly condemns this brutal act and all other attacks made against workers of KEK, because these extraordinary acts are hindering the execution of duties and tasks of the corporation.

This consumer was disconnected several times from the KEK electricity supply because of unpaid debt, but he illegally reconnected himself repeatedly.

The consumer who attacked this KEK on duty was arrested by the police.

The Corporation cannot handle the irresponsible consumers on its own, and therefore it extends a word of thanks to the law enforcement authorities for their assistance and support.
